EASTER CELEBRATING

The evening of April 4, 2005, on Holy Saturday, was held in Moscow a unique show — Easter light projection on the exterior walls of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

The project was implemented by holding «Media Arts» in collaboration with ETC.

Sound projection specially recorded by choir St. Andrew's Monastery. Informative part of the project was developed by Archpriest Boris Danilenko, director of the Synod’s Library of the Moscow Patriarchate.

ETC engineers worked for the study of architectural features of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, with the help of ONLYVIEW special software all iconographic material was processed in view of the topographic features of the temple walls, allowing to compensate any distortion and to present masterpieces of Russian and Byzantine iconography on the walls of the temple in their original grandeur.

Easter light show was the first event in Moscow, where the technology was used dynamic image projection, mainly achievement of which is the independence of the choice of surface for image projection. ONLYVIEW software lets you create dynamic images from static panoramic images for the bright and realistic show.
